Laurel Presbyterian Church responds to Christ’s call to care for the least of these, whether we meet them locally or globally. We have a transitional shelter in our church building for a family waiting for section 8 housing vouchers.
We provide mentoring and financial support to a family living in our manse through the Adopt-a-Family program.
We support LARS, the local organization which assists people with financial and other concerns, and we work with Elizabeth House to serve meals to folk who need food. We supply snacks for Spring Grove Hospital, a psychiatric facility without the resources to provide mid-day snacks for patients.
